Onward the days steadily creep, toward early November, into our minds the memories seep, sorrowful thoughts remembered; "college student has disappeared," the morning headlines said; to some the answer was already clear, they knew where the trail led; but those whose job it was to search, followed another path; "nothing bad happens in the church, we fear not heaven's wrath"; ah but Jesus sees and oh, He knows, the hidden deeds of all; though now we feel November's woe, Truth shall come to call
